Evidence for ritual using of human bones
In Cueva de los Mármoles, many human bones were discovered in prehistoric caves. Research was conudcted by scientists from University of Cordoba and University fo Bern.
With use electron microscope archeaologists were able to spot marks made on those bones. They date back to three periods: 3800BC, 2500BC, 1400BC.
Some researchesr suggested firstly that it could be signs of teeth and thus they were bones of people killed by animals.
Further study however showed that bones were used as instruments. Propably people who buried their ancestors, some time later used their bones for ritual music.
This strange researche shows us how much we didn't know about our ancestors yet.
